Prof. Adel Al-Tabtabaei

Constitutional expert Prof. Adel Al-Tabtabae is the Chairman of ILG with over 44 years of experience, specializing in administrative and constitutional matters. He currently serves as a consultant to the Amiri Diwan and the office of H.H. the Amir of Kuwait.

Prof. Al-Tabtabaei previously served as the Minister of Education and Higher Education, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Kuwait University, and the Head of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Justice. During his tenure at the Ministry of Justice, he led the committee that drafted the Military Prosecution Law, Intellectual Property Law, and the Legislative Requirements for the Kuwait 2010-2014 Development Plan. Throughout his career, Prof. Al-Tabtabaei has represented clients before the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court and has served as an arbitrator in a number of international disputes.

Prof. Al-Tabtabaei holds a PhD in General Law from Ain Shams University, Egypt. He is also the recipient of several awards from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) and has authored over 20 academic books and published over 40 research papers.
